Regulators
Regulators are very important factor of regulating things, basically it is their main function. There are different regulators for different uses, because they varies from where they are going to use. But how they exactly function to most electronic appliances?
On computers, it must give a constant flow of power through out the system. Of course the computer needs the regulated type. For example Low Drop Out Regulators are compose of several parts like capacitors, resistors and the Field Effect Transistor (FET) which is the main component. For all to understand, voltage that will come in to the input of this regulator will then be regulated as soon that it reaches the output. LDO Regulators gives the necessary output power that a computer needs. You might be asking why computers needs regulated voltage? Basically, a computer will not function well if it does not received a regulated voltage. On most cases, as time goes by the computer slowly reaches its limit of tolerating irregular flow of voltage then it will not function anymore. The irregularity flow of voltage will cause a seesaw effect on most component of the computer, and that is mot good. Components voltage are high at some point and become low at some point, this cycling of voltage is not good. A Low-Dropout Regulator will give good regulated voltage to these components and soon helped to maintain a good computer condition as well.
